December 2, 2025 – Cusco, one of the best-known brands in DOT Code hazardous waste hauling trucks, is now back in series production. Hi-Vac is leveraging its strong design and manufacturing capabilities to drive large-scale and high-quality unit production.

First introduced in 1967, Cusco rapidly acquired a reputation for building not just the best Code tank in the business, but also for going the extra mile in delivering best in class rollover and rear-impact unit protection. Cusco’s unit testing and validation extends from bumper to bumper, and the units are built for serviceability, user safety, and the longest possible Code hauling life.

Hi-Vac acquired the Cusco product line in 2022 and has been gearing up to relaunch for the last year. Hi-Vac has retained all of the robust test, inspection, and certification requirements needed for a top-tier hazardous waste hauler, combining them with the standardized production processes of a volume production facility.
